THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED AT DIA MAKING THIS WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION SUCH A SUCCESS!  And Congratulations to Rocky Mountain Honor Flight for making another Washington, D.C. visit happen for our WWII, Korea, and Vietnam Veterans.  The amount of time, energy, and fund-raising  for the volunteers of RMHF to continue to provide these much deserved trips can be daunting.  If not for this all-volunteer organization, most of these Veterans would never see the memorials dedicated to them for their sacrifice and service. Rocky Mountain Honor Flight: Welcome Home!

Lots of excitement at DIA on Saturday night as the twenty two WWII and seven Korean war veterans returned home from their trip to Washington DC. The fanfare included service members from all branches, families, boy scouts, bagpipers, and even dogs.  The smiles and enthusiasm was contagious as the crowd waited for our heroes.

Rocky Mountain Honor Flight: Upcoming Welcome Home Celebrations!

“Rocky Mountain Honor Flight was created to transport our American veterans to Washington DC for two days of remembrance, honor and celebration of their service and sacrifice.  Top priority is given to our most senior veterans, our World War II heroes, as well as those veterans from all conflicts who may be terminally ill.  This journey is at no cost to the veterans.  Rocky Mountain Honor Flight is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.”

GOOD NEWS!  Two upcoming trips are scheduled from Denver International Airport.
