Rocky Mountain Honor Flight: Upcoming Welcome Home Celebrations!

“Rocky Mountain Honor Flight was created to transport our American veterans to Washington DC for two days of remembrance, honor and celebration of their service and sacrifice.  Top priority is given to our most senior veterans, our World War II heroes, as well as those veterans from all conflicts who may be terminally ill.  This journey is at no cost to the veterans.  Rocky Mountain Honor Flight is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.”

GOOD NEWS!  Two upcoming trips are scheduled from Denver International Airport.

Show your appreciation for all this generation gave for our everyday freedom by coming to DIA to be part of the returning Veterans celebration.

The dates are Saturday, September 19, 2015 and October 24, 2015.  The volunteers who are organizing this occasion are suggesting a  7:30pm arrival in the main concourse.  Our Veterans will be ascending the escalators approximately 8:15pm.

Show your support with a flag, a banner, balloons or with just your smile.  Cheering for these heroes is infectious and uplifting.   This is a fun experience for the whole family.  It also educates our younger generation about the pride and respect we have in our Veteran population.

The September trip includes 22 Veterans from WWII, and 7 from the Korean war.  Here are some of our heroes/sheroes making the trip:
