OPERATION HOLIDAY JOY: It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is now less than two weeks away, and almost time to go through the garage for the holiday decorations. Thinking ahead, I have been looking for a special way to honor the families, especially the children of our military community. There are many worthy organizations out there providing assistance, however, this year I plan on supporting Operation Holiday Joy. Operation Holiday Joy began in 2004 and 100% of received donations goes to help create a better holiday for our service members and their families.

Help make the holidays brighter for military families
We are continuing to see an increased need in both demand and support for this program. Young heroes and their families are voluntarily serving and sacrificing daily so we can continue to enjoy our freedoms and way of life. YOUR support demonstrates an appreciation for the sacrifices required of these dedicated defenders of our country. We look forward to receiving your support to continue making military life easier this holiday, and every holiday season.
Operation Holiday Joy was initially established in collaboration with Woman’s Day Magazine and their readers to raise awareness and funds for military service members and their families during the holidays. Since 2004, Operation Holiday Joy supporters have donated more than $1.5 million for military and their families. YOUR generosity has allowed us to purchase and distribute more than 320,000 toys as well as deliver over 25,000 baskets of food for Thanksgiving and Christmas to junior enlisted families in need.

We appreciate your contribution towards our 2016 Operation Holiday Joy goal. Thank you for helping make the holidays bright for so many deserving military families. We strive to help as many needy families in the junior enlisted community as possible, but there many more we could aid who need some extra help creating their own holiday joy. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and will make a difference for a military family.
