Another successful West Metro Veterans Fair has come and gone in Lakewood, CO. Many thanks to all of the hard working volunteers and especially the Lakewood Elks Lodge #1777 for making this years 5th West Metro Veterans Fair (WMVF) a success.
According to veteran Scott Hefty, the City of Lakewood Municipal Court Chief Probation Officer, organizer of this event: “The WMVF is designed to increase awareness of non-profit programs and services available for veterans and their families by highlighting employment, housing, educational, recreational and resource opportunities. This is a veteran-driven and community inspired event with the goal of connecting veterans/families with people and resources.”
