TODAY’S CELEBRATION INCLUDED GOOD PEOPLE, GOOD TIMES, AND AN AMAZING TURNOUT.   Registration, food and silent auction was held at Takoda Tavern, 12311 Pine Bluffs Way, Parker, CO.  ALL proceeds for this event benefited Blue Star Mothers of Colorado and Pets for Vets-Colorado Chapter.  Gloria Clough and numerous volunteers worked hard to put this special day together.  The FreedomRiders rode 35 miles to Fort Logan, to honor the fallen and lay flowers at the Vietnam Memorial.  This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.

Thank you to all who participated.  So many Veterans who served, came to recognize those, and their families, who have given so much.0516150845~2Andrew Hall 0516150807a~20516150807b 0516150908a~2

“History has taught us over and over again that freedom is not free.  When push comes to shove, the ultimate protectors of freedom and liberty are the brave men and woman in our armed forces.  Throughout our history, they’ve answered the call in bravery and sacrifice.”  Tim Fawlenty

AND FOR THIS WE SAY THANK YOU!!!

  1. Thanks for such a great article, and thank you for coming out to help us!!! Pets for Vets Colorado was blessed to have Gloria select us as one of her charities to support with this ride, and we had a blast! It was one of the most beautiful sites to see all the bikes lined up waiting to take off with that gorgeous Colorado mountain backdrop!!! What a perfect day it turned out to be! To everyone that came out, a HUGE THANK YOU, and most of all..THANK YOU to Gloria, for if not for her, this event wouldn’t have taken place 🙂

  2. All of us from the fort Morgan area had a great time as always, even with a threat of rain, but it was worth it, thanx to Gloria Clough, I had an opportunity to say a few words at the Vietnam Memorial, on behave of all the Vets that were on this ride………would do it again!#

    1. I am sorry I do not have a picture of that, if someone does and would allow me to post it, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
